Top Places to Visit in Himachal When Coronavirus Lockdown will be Over

VACATION

No  No…!!  I can’t sit home anymore. It’s been months and I am just working like robot from Home. Once this lockdown will be over I will run away somewhere!! Stuff like this travel in my mind whole day. I just scroll down my Instagram screen and then go to sleep. What else I can do…!!!

And I am pretty sure that you guys also think like this. After so much blah blah in my mind I have chosen some places. I hope you guys will find them interesting too !!

Manali

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town perched amid the snow-laden Himalayan peaks in Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh.
Being one of the most popular honeymoon destination and a reputed backpacking centre Manali welcomes you with the most flattering mountain views, quaint cafes, and lively street markets.
Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. Further, the nearby Rohtang pass is quite a highlight of the station too. Manali is one of Best places to visit in India where you are going to find both adventure and comfort match and it also one of those that ensures your safety and promises fun at the same time.

Kasol

A gem hidden away in Himalayas, Kasol is paradise for nature lover and an ideal destination for a weekend getaway. It is also known as Mini Israel of India as it attracts a significant Israeli population. Kasol has good weather throughout the year and receives a fair amount of snowfall from late December to February. Try Israeli Food and enjoy the markets of Kasol.. Whenever you visit Kasol don’t forget to explore KheerGanga and Tosh village. These places are gem like Kasol.

Bir Billing

Bir  also known as the paragliding paradise, is most beautiful village located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. This place is on my personal favourite list.
It is one of those places which have most amazing sunset and Monasteries. The tribal region is welcoming and they even let visitors be a part of their prayers and let them sit right next to the monks.
No one ever asks for a donation here!
You can explore the monasteries and learn more about the life of  monks while trying some delicious Tibetan cuisines like momos, Thukpas, Sha Phalay, and so on.
If you are thinking to escape for quieter and beautiful hill station in Himachal place then you should surely go for Bir.

Chitkul:-

This most serene and beautiful place, Chitkul lies in Kinnaur district at a height of 11,320 feet above sea level is the scenic bliss as it will keep your eyes glued at the hills. The serenity that the place offer is indeed the solace you had long been craving for.
The tiny village is surrounded by hills and the Baspa flows through it.
Spend some time in the Chitkul and you will wake up beneath the clearest blue skies you have ever seen, and you will witness the breathtaking sunset as an ochre sun slides behind the snow capped Himalayas.

Spiti:-

Guys I am telling you this place is way more beautiful than the pictures you have seen on Google .  The valley originates from the 16,000 feet high Kunzum pass and is often referred to as ‘the middle land’ – meaning the land between India and Tibet or the land surrounded by mountain ranges on all the sides.  Spiti valley is so tranquil that you could hear your heartbeat, skies so clear that you could spot Milky Way with naked eyes, people so amazing that they touch your heart and soul, and the land so old that you could still find evidence of Tethys Sea that existed during Mesozoic era. Incredibly beautiful shades of green and purple are visible in the fields while clouds descend on earth.

 Shimla:-

Shimla is hub of the most popular hill stations visited by hill lovers from all over the world.  Set amidst stunning hills and magical woods, Shimla is one amongst most aesthetically planned cities in India. Shimla has lot of stories to tell, some legends and more heritage, but all equally exciting. What makes Shimla more alluring is its glorious past, the days when it was summer capital during the British Raj. People flock here all around the year to experience the outstanding views and scenic beauty offered here & for the fun of camping. Situated in the lap of the vast expansion that nature has to offer Shimla is perfect weekend getaway choice.

 Tirthan valley:-

Peaceful, beautiful, traditional or should I say a fragile gem of Himachal Pradesh, the Tirthan valley is an offbeat destination which  has plenty of hidden gems and so, it will allow you to enjoy various activities such as relaxation, day hikes, multi day treks or trout angling.  It is also the main gateway to the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP), a UNESCO heritage site, which is why it has become so popular recently. The unparallel beauty and people with big heart makes it welcome respite destination. This scheduled and pristine hill station offers the amazing experience. Just escape from your city life and experience this beautiful paradise where clear skies, majestic mountains and pristine river flowing through the valley. Located at an altitude of 1600 m, surrounded by mighty Himalayas it could be your weekend getaway.

Malana:-

Bhai sahb ek baar to Malana jana hai !!

You have definitely heard the name of this isolated village located in the lap of Himalayas. and obvious because of the infamous hashish production over here. But trust me; this place is more than that. Malana is surrounded by tall, majestic mountains on both sides. And the Parvati River passes in front of it, separating it from the other side of the valley. This place is not really familiar to tourists and that is what makes it even more interesting.  With centuries of history behind it, Malana certainly seemed intriguing. Malana can still be accessed only by a trek and usually the time taken to hike one way is around 3 hours. There are some restrictions everyone has to follow while in there. Go spend some time there and explore a totally different world.

 Kasauli:-

Surrounded by a forest of oak, pine chestnut trees, the mesmerising cantonment town of Kasauli in Himachal is perfect for those looking for a quiet break. Explore its quaint cottages and British-era churches and cemeteries over long walks. You can also trek up to the hilltop temple for splendid views of the Himalayas. Kasauli is an ideal getaway for those who love to go on endless walks. The upper mall road, lower mall road and Kasauli main market are numerous paths that can make one get lost in nature.

Ladakh:-

Have you watched 3 Idiots movie..?? The climax scene of movie shows us many places which were looking like heaven on earth that was Leh Ladakh, located at an altitude of 3000 meters.

Ladakh falls in the rain shadow region, making it a high altitude cold desert and one of the most remote and sparsely populated regions of India.  An untouched paradise where you find peace and silence, which combined with the stunning Himalayan landscape and the Tibetan culture visible in every corner, sometimes you may even forget that you are actually in India.

Walking into an unmarked territory fills you with excitement and you are unsure about things!

Take a deep breath and let the serenity in Ladakh take over your senses. It’s unlikely you’ll experience anything like it anywhere else in the world.
