Kheerganga, a meadow where Shiva is said to have meditated for 3000 years. Kheerganga is situated in Parvati Valley at a distance of 22 km from Manikaran. Kheerganga remains snow-covered during winters. To reach here, you need to take a long trek amidst Himalayas only to find the best rejuvenating experience. After a dip in the healing waters of Tattapani, you can get an adventure rush by doing some white water rafting on the Satluj. Thousands of pilgrims come to Tattapani on 13th January Makkar Sakranti to take a holy dip in the warm water. People come here in abundance, every year to take a dip in this water, during the month of Magha (Jan-Feb). The water level of these springs keeps fluctuating depending on the water level of the river.
4. Kasol Hot Water Springs
Kasol is another hot water spring opposite to village Nikhatan. Being one of the less explored tourist destinations in Himachal, Kasol village in Kullu has many surprises in store for visitors. The temperature of the water here is much lower than that of Manikaran. Kasol has become very popular tourist resort, especially among Israeli tourists. In summers a Rabbi also comes over to cater to the religious needs of the small community. Here, hot water comes out only at one spot and water temperature is much lower than that of other hot water springs in Himachal.

Famous for its Turkish type baths, this hot water spring is located well above the river Beas, near Manali. This temple is dedicated to the ancient Indian sage Vashist who was the Guru of Lord Rama and Lakshmana. These hot waters have made Vashist village a well-known around the world. Around 6.5 km downstream from Manali, natural sulphurous waters flow from the depths of the earth. The little-known village of Kalath, located on the banks of the Beas River, has six natural hot water springs that are believed to have curative properties. It is recognized for a collection of six hot water springs. There are separate bath tanks for men and women. The sulphur rich water is believed to have therapeutic properties. 7. Jeori in Kinnaur
Jeori hot water springs are located on the picturesque road to Spiti valley, commonly known as the Hindustan Tibet Road. The Chhari Yatra (holy mace) of the famous Manimahesh pilgrimage to Shrikhand Mahadev peak, held in the month of July, starts with a dip in the hot spring waters of Jeori. Pilgrims take a dip in the hot spring waters of Jeori then start their yatra towards the Lord Shiva abode.
8. Tatwani in Kangra
A short drive through the lush green Kangra Valley will take you to Tatwani hot spring, a well-kept local secret. Enclosed within a quaint temple, the hot waters of the spring flow into a small pool from the mouth of a lion carved from stone. The warm waters are believed to heal many ailments and cleanse the skin of impurities. Locals believe that the water contains natural healing properties and can cure many ailments.
