On arrival at Delhi airport, our executive will be there to meet you and transfer you to leh. After reach at leh airport you will be transfer to your pre booked hotel/Guest house. Check in at the hotel/guest house for relax. Note that it is necessary to get acclimatized at a high altitude.
In the morning after having the breakfast, we will drive for half day sightseeing tour of Shankar Gompa. Nestled on a valley floor, Shankar Gompa is the home to the Dalai Lama. We will also visit the Leh Palace. It was built in the 17th Century who are looking for the world such as a miniature version of the Potala in Lhasa .Later, we will be visiting Shanti Stupa. It is a Buddhist religious monument built by Indian based Japanese Monk whose purpose was to spread Buddhism by building such Stupas across the globe.. We will further go for Sindhu Darshan at Chaglomsar. The rest of the day is free for personal activities. An overnight stay at the hotel.
LEH – PANGONG LAKE – LEH After having the breakfast, take a drive to Pangong Lake through Changla pass (5486 Mts.). While climbing Changla pass, enjoy the stunning panoramic view of the villages below the pass. Reach Durbuk, from where a short drive will take you to the western shore of the Lake. Relish the panorama on the backdrop of the lake. The famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms broad and over 144 Kms long with half of it running the other side of the "INDO CHIANA BORDER". In the late afternoon, drive back to Leh. Overnightstay at hotel Leh.
Today after having the breakfast in morning, we will drive to the north of Leh up to Khardung La. It is supposed to be the highest motorable road not only in India, but in the world. After exploring the area, we will drive back to Leh by afternoon. In the evening, one can walk to Leh Market for last minute shopping. An overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast in the morning, we will drive to visit 11th century Alchi Tsokar, the oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh – a UNESCO listed heritage site. While returning back to Leh from here, we will visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) and the Hall of Fame. An overnight stay in the hotel.
