Ladakh Ultimate

In the morning after having the breakfast, we will drive for half day sightseeing tour of Shankar Gompa. Nestled on a valley floor, Shankar Gompa is the home to the Dalai Lama. We will also visit the Leh Palace. It was built in the 17th Century who are looking for the world such as a miniature version of the Potala in Lhasa .Later, we will be visiting Shanti Stupa. It is a Buddhist religious monument built by Indian based Japanese Monk whose purpose was to spread Buddhism by building such Stupas across the globe.. We will further go for Sindhu Darshan at Chaglomsar. The rest of the day is free for personal activities. An overnight stay at the hotel.

We will leave early in the morning today to drive along Indus River into the Rupshu Valley. It will be a nice wilderness drive up to Tsomoriri Lake. Arrive reaching Tsomoriri by late noon, check-in at the camp. In the evening relax and enjoy an overnight at the tented Camp in the Karzok village by lake side. Karzok is the only village and one of the most high altitude settlements in Ladakh.

After having the breakfast in the morning, we will drive to reach Tsokar via Puga by covering 75 km long stretch in about 3-4 hours. Tsokar Lake is also known as the White Lake because of salt deposits around it. Tsokar is so salty that salt extracted from its margins are still sold all over Ladakh. It is about 45 km northwest of the Tsomoriri Lake. Later, we will continue our drive and reach the Manali-Leh highway. Later, we will drive down towards Leh via Tanglang la (5415 m), the 2nd highest motorable road in Ladakh. En route, we will drive and passes through many beautiful villages of Rumptse, Gya, Miru and Lato. On arrival in Leh, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

After having the breakfast, take a drive to Nubra Valley. Cross the world's highest motor able pass Khardung la Come in the striking valley well-known for the primeval Caravan route to Central Asia and to places like Kashgar and Yarkand, the path was also known as the treaty road. Nubra means the valley of flowers. Carry out the exclusive double-hump Bacterium Camel ride along in the sand dune. Overnight stay at Guest House/Camp.

Early morning get ready for expedition to Samstanling Monastery. The 19th century monastery is set in a serene setting in the Nubra Valley. Revel in the spiritual bliss of Tibetan traditions. Later, begin your drive back to Leh. One arrival in Leh, the day is free of plans, spend at your own leisure. There are activities of your interest, beautiful surroundings and a platter of sumptuous delicacies of the local cuisines to try out. Overnight in Leh.

A full day tour of Pangong Lake is scheduled for the itinerary. The Pangong Lake is around 135 kilometers away from Leh and situated at an elevation of 4,400 meters. En route, cross Chang la pass and drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Stay overnight at the tented camp.

Early morning, you can enjoy a photo-session around the lake. Post breakfast, drive back to Leh. An optional tour of Hemis Monastery is also on the cards. Hemis is the largest and richest monastery complex in Ladakh. Drive back to Leh by noon. Stay overnight at the hotel.

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Leh Airport and from here take a flight for Delhi. TOUR & SERVICES ENDS.
